Coalition Announces First Downtown DPD Command Center, Marking One Year of Safe in the City Results
Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) and the Safe in the City coalition today announced the imminent opening of the privately funded Dallas Police Downtown Command Center — the first dedicated physical presence for the recently created Downtown patrol division.

The Housing Forward-led All Neighbors Coalition hosted its 2026 State of Homelessness Address. During the annual event, Coalition leadership highlighted the community’s specialized strategy to prevent people from sleeping outside by creating real pathways off the streets.
