Below is a list of funds that have been established as relief funds for victims, their families, and others affected by the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School on May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas. Click on the links below to be directed to donation pages.
Uvalde Strong Fund – The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, which serves 10 counties, including Uvalde, has established the Uvalde Strong Fund to support victims, their families, and others affected by the mass shooting incident. You can make a tax-deductible donation at: www.communityfoundation.net/uvaldestrong.

Uvalde Strong Fund / Uvalde Strong Survivor’s Fund– The San Antonio Area Foundation is partnering with the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to support the community of Uvalde and has created two relief funds: one to benefit the survivors’ families in partnership with National Compassion Fund, and another to support nonprofit organizations providing services. You can make a tax-deductible donation to one or both of these funds here.
United with Uvalde Fund – United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County has created the United with Uvalde fund to support the victims’ families and the Uvalde community with immediate and long-term mental health services. The fund will also address any emerging needs identified by their nonprofit partners on the ground in Uvalde now. Support services will be for students, teachers, and families in Uvalde. Funds will be made available to nonprofits with experience and expertise in providing direct mental health services for communities impacted by trauma. Robb Elementary Memorial Fund – The First State Bank of Uvalde has set up a memorial account for the families of Robb Elementary. Checks should be payable to “Robb School Memorial Fund” and mailed to: 200 E. Nopal Street, Uvalde, TX 78001 or can be made via Zelle to: robbschoolmemorialfund@gmail.com or via 830-278-6231.

Please note: contributions to GoFundMe pages, as well as the memorial fund at First State Bank of Uvalde are not tax-deductible and also cannot be made from a donor-advised fund.

Other Ways to Help
Blood Donations – The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center is seeking donations of blood to support the victims of the Uvalde shooting. O-negative, the universal blood type, is the most-used blood type in emergencies by first responders. Though, all blood types are needed and will be sent to all area hospitals aiding victims. Financial donations to support the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center can be made here.
Support for Families – The National Compassion Fund is a subsidiary of the National Center for Victims of Crime, a 501(c)3 that was developed in partnership with victims and family members from past mass casualty crimes, including those from Sandy Hook, Aurora, Virginia Tech, Oak Creek Temple, Columbine, and 9/11.
The National Compassion Fund collects donations through a partnership with GoFundMe to raise funds that will be directed to victims. Donors can designate which events to donate to, and those funds will be kept separately. A fund has been set up for Buffalo, and it is expected that there will be one for Uvalde in the coming days.
VictimsFirst (a group of survivors of mass school shootings) has started a GoFundMe for Uvalde and is planning to partner with the National Compassion Fund. To learn more and to donate to a fund, visit the National Compassion Fund website here.
