At the request of the City of Dallas, Austin Street Center is coordinating recovery support. All 19 families have secured temporary housing, and efforts are now focused on closing remaining funding gaps needed for long-term recovery.
Funding will help cover at least 6 months of rent, transportation support, and other essential services as families move toward stability.
“Communities Foundation of Texas is donating to Austin Street Center’s efforts to help the families impacted by this tragedy as they begin to rebuild. Communities Foundation of Texas, as lead funder, is partnering with Austin Street Center, The Dallas Foundation, Muse Family Foundation, the City of Dallas, Catholic Charities, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, American Red Cross, and Mission Oak Cliff to coordinate the response and maximize community support.

Physical donations are being coordinated by Mission Oak Cliff and include gift cards (Visa, Amazon, grocery, and restaurant), Gatorade, and cleaning supplies.
