Susan leads the team charged with producing North Texas Giving Day, the largest community-based day of giving in the nation. Giving Day is a fundraising juggernaut, pumping more than $242 million into North Texas since its debut in 2009.
In 2018 alone, $48.5 million was raised through more than 157,000 gifts benefiting 2,700 nonprofits. Susan previously served as CFT’s chief relationship officer from 2010-16.
Prior to that, she was assistant head of school at the Hockaday School and assistant vice president for development and external affairs operations at Southern Methodist University.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University and a master’s in educational leadership from George Washington University. She and her husband, Ken, have four adult children.
